I have never encountered a redneck like that in the USA. I live near Maine (full of rich resorts and inbreds, Canadians as well), New Hampshire (full of unsocial people who hate MA but once grew up in MA), and Vermont who are pure hicks who want to cecede from the USA and merge with Canada. To get anywhere like that you have to go to S. Carolina or Missouri to see a hint like that. I got a couple of stories from Missouri but not even then are they this close. I often wonder where they get these people from. My aunt did vote to re-elect Bush because "he took a stance against Iraq" and my cousin did as well. My cousin reason was that Bush opposed gay marriage. :| Btw I have decided Obama and I did like McCain at one point. Farthest I have got in the USA is Missouri anyways.
