Reduced Functionality of the Site & Forums

No doubt some of you have noticed we are experiencing a few database errors etc here and there. I would just like to say, it's nothing to worry about. Just a few little problem, nothing as major as the site going down. If you encounter an error, simply wait a few moments, and try again.

Thanks, the first time I read through that it looked like you told us to wait a few "months" and try it again, and i was like "what the feck!" but then i looked at it and it was just moments, and i got all relieved... sigh/

I've had quite a few of those. And each time I panic and post "SOMETHING'S GONE WRONG!" in #halflife2.

most of the times such things happen, it just means that there are too many users connected and the SQL database can't handle all the connections. Thus try again on a quieter moment and all is well.
