Reformatting with XP pro with SP 2

The only problem i have with SP2 is the bubble pop up that comes on whenever you turn your firewall/anti-virus off for 5 seconds while you do something. And the Security Centre which pops up informing you that you have no firewall when you boot up etc, if anyone knows how to get rid of these il be very happy.!!
Aside from that, SP2 is fine. Although i havent noticed much difference between it and Sp1, there must be lots of better changes within the OS that you cant see.

The only problem I have with SP2 is ever since I installed it, I can download updates from Windows Update website, and certain sites go slow like ebay, Yahoo! mail, n such. I can get to any other site, but for some reason those sites go slow. Could it be my router? or maybe cause my XP isn't bought
