For gaming is the higher the better or the lower the better . Remember its for a LCD 22" i just baught<--- as if you care
 
The higher the better. The higher it is the less eye strain and headaches you will get. Make sure you want to check the box that says "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display." And then put it at the highest rate. It will most likely be 85 mhz.

i think for CRT's the higher the better , but for lcd is lower the better or it doesn t evan matter.
 
No, higher refresh rates are always better. More refreshes = smoother, less blurring.

yes.. for CRT monitors.
for LCD's tho..i think its vice versa.

lower = better

perhaps Asus can confirm this.
 
60Hz is fine on an LCD. Of course if you used that on a CRT your head would promptly explode.
