refresh rate?

anyone else notice their refresh rate is at 60Hz when they play? My desktop is at 100Hz but when i get into a game it changes to what looks like 60Hz. anyone know how to change this?

Thats been an NT issue since day one.

Look for some refresh fixing tools on google

I have one taht changes the registry for you, no install. Great app. if you want me to find it let me know and ill look when i get home.

For anyone reading this post other than us two...this might help if you try the registry fix:

on my monitor the "0000" on isn't the one in use...like it says you just have to figure out which one windows is actually using.

there's already a xxxx,xxxx resolution key where it tells you to make one on my machine...if there is:

(this is on my viewsonic monitor)
inside that you have a string value something like "30-110,50-160,+,+"

i just changed the 30 and the 50 to 75
now windows doesn't think 60Hz is supported on any resolution
so it defaults to 75 at the least
