Whenever i see someone's benchmarks thay always include the refresh rate in their resolution info.
I was wondering if the refresh rate could adversly impact performance.

If you benchmark with VSYNC on your framerate is capped at your refreshrate. So 60Hz is all your monitor can draw and so your framerate is capped at 60FPS.

Any real benchmarker knows this and benchmarks with VSYNC off.

So yes it could really impact your FPS is VSYNC is on so turn it off unless you dont like screen tearing.
