Release Halflife:S... please

I am not very big on CS:S, great game & I like playing, I just want something else to tide me over until the game is released, HL:S would be the perfect solution before HL2, something with story (even if it’s an old story :cheese: ).
I am just not holding out much hope for HL2 in the next few months. :angry:

What’s the deal with HL:S, I read ages ago that the conversion from half-life maps to HL:S maps was easy, so why not release that now? :bounce:

I think that would be a good idea.

Not a fan of CS:S as well, so a nice little present while we wait would be fun. I know it won't be THAT much different, but that's fine...just something to play in the meantime.

and yeah I was never ever keen on CS, but CS:S is in a league of its own.. it amazes me.
when playing with the right people (specifically hl2.netters and team players with mics) its simply the best.

I think that they have DOD:S and HL:S done... they are just holding it in case they get in more trouble or the game gets more delayed so they can distract our little minds hehehe... but I think they will release DOD:S maybe aroudn the time of the "gold" announcement so it will allow us to have something while waiting for the game to come
