Religion Class is going to make me get a stress-related stomache ulser by the end of the year. We're supposed to be learning about the customs and beliefs of different religions. But our retarded teacher is making us do this retarded 'Cathoilic and Capable' shit(The entire class if of a catholic background). We have to answer retarded questions like how the Holy Spirit helps us make decisions. THE F*CKING HOLY SPIRIT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY DECITION MAKING! We were asked yesterday to write what we learned about faith by discussing it in class. I wrote nothing and she asked why, because I hadn't learned anything. I tell her that and she says I'm not taking part and she treatened to book me(it's a disipline thing) unless I started, I'm one of the f*cking 3 people actually taking part(and the other 2 are complete retards who have no original thoughts). The only f*cking thing I've learned is that most of my class are idiots who believe everything their told(like God is an old man in a white robe and sandels and that the Devil is a goat-man). I hate my religion teacher almost as much as my physics teacher(who makes physics one of my most hated classes even though it's one of my favourite subjects).

Fells good to rant every once in a while. And better idea than shouting at my teacher.

Heres a decision for you, drop R.E. and Physics and take up English Language and Literature :D <3

One of my friends does that. But because he has such good grades, the teachers HAVE to let him pass :D

shout at the teacher laddie shout at her plenty
then burn them, burn 'em all!

And I quote a song by Christy Moore

"Kill the son Kill the father kill the holy spirit"

I agree with you. Refuse to work, the only way you can get in trouble is if you cant argue your way out of a paper bag, or your school is run by morons.

Just go in with a boomblaster that's playing : "Just Another Brick In The Wall" from Pink Floyd :D

Ask your teacher to give a less biased lesson, as there are many other religions that interest you (you don't have to be interested, but it might make her think about what you want to learn and not what she thinks you should learn.

I'min transition year which basicaly means that I have to 'sample' every subject. I'm stuck with it. I want to do physics I just hate the teacher and English is required in Ireland.

be glad its not compulsory like it is in many schools
*shudders

I'd completely ****ing go insane and own the teacher with logic if I were you. Every teacher that's tried to push religion on me has walked out of the room hating me because I beast them in an argument about it.

Do you turn into a wolverine or the hulk and smash them and the room up? Is that how you win Mr Frodo? :)

It reminds me of the time my brother got in an arguement with his teacher.
"...and that's what Heaven's like"
"How do we know?"
"*hesitation* Extracts from the Bible"
"But wasn't everyone who wrote the Bible alive at the time?"
He then gets in trouble for his 'attitude'.

No, Billy Joe Armstrong, I just have the mild problem of being smarter than a lot of my teachers, particularly the one I'm referring to.

Yes, last citizenship lesson we doing some completly pointless work, I said this out loud and the teacher heard and said:

"Shall I right Mr.Pilkington(My proper teacher who was away) a note explaining what you think of his work)
"No Ill do it myself" And I did wrote a little note saying how this work was stupid and put it on his desk.

Owned. Pfft women teachers.

Oh the irony.

You should also retake English.

say, explain the theory of evolution to me, why arent dinosaurs in the garden of eden, what was before god, who made god

Omg that's what I should have said when those Jehova's Witnesses were saying that the universe was created by God (and God only)

I think any average Christian could answer those questions...

Ok I got a plan:

A) when she's lecturing, creep up behind her and slam her face as ****ing hard as you can into the nearest desk.

B) Repeat multiple times, throw her onto the floor

C) Stomp on her face some for good measure, spit on her, and leave

Lol I wouldn't know who made God :P
No one did -_-
We only think of everything as having a beginning and end because we've always percieved life and events in time. We have to remember God created time, and thus lives out of time's constraints. i.e outside of beginnings and ends

there's a guy in our religion class who refuses to work as well. everytime he speaks, he's got a point; but he doesn't get anything from arguing with irrational people. if anything, he worsens his grades. so your best option is to cope with those lessons and do as you're told, anything else and you'll just piss off teachers and get bad grades.

I don't give a f*ck what result I get in Religion.

I think God would like me better if I ridded the world of that bitch. When she asked those idiots what they thought of God and they replied a guy with a beard she said 'right' to them as if they had just said a correct answer and when I said my views(a force with no physical shape) she kind of looked at me and said 'riight' very unsurly as if she thought I was mad.

Maybe if you tell her that God speaks through you, you'll get an A+ on every essay.

well, if the grade of the religion class counts for something in your school, think of what's better... to get bad grades because you can't deal with a class you don't like, or to get good grades? i know there may not be many benefits of excelling in a religion class, but maybe it'll enable you to opportunities to things you nor i know of. it's always better to try your best, specially in the harder/annoying stuff... at least there's more merit in that than angering your teachers or not trying at all.

Oh dear. It's Ireland being a Catholic country, isn't it? :o

What bullshit. Religion for me was bad enough and that was a balanced unbiased study of lots of different religions. Sounds to me that your equivalent is like, indoctrination session or something.

Thankfully at my school we have a choice about the religious classes. I'd kill myself if I had to take that class, mainly because the religious teachers are assholes of the highest order.

Thankfully in Massachusetts they don't have any religious classes. I'm so glad I don't live somewhere else. Separation of church and state kicks a$$.

Never took a single religion class in my entire life. Huzzah!

I don't even think they have "religion" classes here.. :( I <3 theology/spirituality.

A Canadian dude teaches me "General R.E" at college, sooooo booooringggg

And as there is no Politics involved i know it ain't Stern in disguise :D

I tried rebelling against religion class with logic. I got my question priveleges taken away. So, I'd wait for the teacher to say something I disagreed with, put my hand up, and leave it up the entire bell. It really undermined the authority of the "Most Revered High Arch-Deacon" McFeely, but there was nothing he could do about it.

I had religion classes 'til year 7. Ignored everything.

We don't really have fanatical teachers.

Man, I'm glad I took World History to The 16th Century and Sociology/Antropology instead of Religion. haha. Philosophy would have been a good choice too. I don't think I could have stood it. :flame:
