yeah sorry about that. my first render as well :)
this is a little better.

edit: third times the charm

the shape seems nice, but hard to crit still, but it would seem you're on the right track :)

LMFAO its rly good. BTW im helping him learnto model.

ok this is pretty much done, but im going to find some better ref pics of the ejector.

try to render w/o GI... though 4-8 omnis in there around the image...

whats GI, and what the hell is an omni?

Omni light, a floating light that illuminates in all directions

if it illuminates in all directions where should you put it? right on the model?

hmm... I htink waedoe has failed to point out many of the basics to gh0st....

Think of an Omni as a standard 75watt lightbulb. It illuminates in all directions, and you place it a certian distance from the object..

yeah the basics to rendering? thanks but im not a ELITE render, what i do is model. What do you do sidewinder? OH YEAH ALL YOU DO IS RENDER, PLZ dont personally attack me, i dont see you helping any one out here, all you do is rant about noobs that need help. I pointed out the basics to him, its hard to teach him everything in 3 days. his first models better than any of our first models. all he need to do is brighten the back ground and make the render image 800x600.

blame my slow computer and my lack of patience
