I can add bots (either at startup or with command) but I was wondering how to kick without a new bot joining?

Would I need to limit the team sizes (e.g. mp_limitteams x) first and then kick? I was having a rough time with getting it to work right and reloading can take a few, so I thought I would ask :)

Btw, the bots are pretty good. Nice chatter, fairly smart (they do a couple dumb things, but I was only playing on normal). But most of them would follow me although I tended to get a but of "No" from some! I wish you could set each bot individually for style and skill :naughty: These bots are a lot of fun though... more fun than a lot of servers I have played on. They don't speed hack, they don't cuss or spray porn, and they are polite, "Nice shot Sir!" :) Its like all the 12 year olds were kicked out of CS! ;)

I'm wondering that too, I want to make the bots disappear from the server and never come back(ok only if I add them again), how do you do that?

Ok, here's what you guys do. When you look in the console, and you type "Bot_", like so (Without obvious quotationb marks), then a list of all the functions you can do with bots appears. There's one called "Bot_Kick", which is the kick function. For this you must then add the bots name you want to kick.

Also typing "help bot_kick" or "Bot_kick help" will work and give you a more detailed explanation.

Hope that helps.

yeah but when u kick the bot another one just comes back

I was playing on a server that had 6 bots and when human player joined it automatically kicked 1 bot

You can set the bot_quota to the number of bots you want, also try if bot_auto_vacate 0 or mp_autoteambalance 0 help.
