removing the CSS text on menu??

is it possible to remove the text on the main menu of CSS

see pic for a better understanding

You would have to replace that background image with one that does not contain the text. Hard to remove the text tbh.

Why do you what to out of curiosity?

i think the text is more of an overlay but im sure its somewhere in the cstrike file

I assume if its not interactive its part of the pic...but then again, i just started learning photoshop

That was my assumption, but giant384 could well be correct.
 
Yeah I can see how a big "This Text" with a huge arrow besides it could take away some immersion.
 
get gcfscape, extract the clientscheme.res file.

you'll need to find a font or make your own that has blank letters. then point the "ClientTitle" something or another to your blank font file.

that's one way anyway. somewhere there's a file that tells CS to display those particular words, like cstrike_english.txt or something, and you can just blank it out that way, but i'm not sure which file it is.
