Hey,
I was wondering how you render lights that have been animated. For example, i animated how i wanted the lights to turn on, what color i wanted them to be, and so on, but when i do a render animation the lights just stay at 0 instead if animateing. But when i just do a single frame render it renders the lights how the should be when its at the frame. Any help would be great, thanks. Oh, and im useing 3ds max 6.

ok heres a example The first picture is what happens if i just render the 10th frame, you can see that the red lights are starting to turn on. The second picture is the 10th frame when i render it during the animation, you can see that its still pitch black instead of how its suppose to be like on the first picture.

You have to tell it you are rendering an animation, if you do this it will go through each frame of the animation and render it, then put it all together in much the same way cartoons are made. Let me have a quick look hows it done, i havnt dont to much animation.

For some reason mental ray was messing up which is why it was doing that, so i used vray and it works fine now, ill post the animation once its completed.
