Save replays and watch them for how the opponent won against you.

Not actually a good strategy but something I find fun against AI opponents: A few squads of zone troopers and a commando in an enemy base and tear it appart and hope they don't have any smelly anti-air units.

I dunno if they eventually patched it, but in 1.0 you could own any opponent by spamming zone troopers in apcs.
