Requesting File list...

Much like a previous post in this subject, my HL2 CD(s) are damaged as well. I've been able to extract few files from the CD's and borrow some from my friends. All I'm requesting here, is the filelist for a complete HL2 install, so I know which files go where. Obviously, I'm manually copying files to make things work.

Ok, here is a batch file that will run through your HL2 directory and look for missing files. Extract it to your desktop and run it. Type in your exact hl2 install location (As instructed in the batch file) hit enter and wait a few seconds. A notepad window should pop up with a list of all the HL2 files you are missing. Just close that when you are done.

No probs mate. I made the file list and figured that spending a couple of mins wrapping "IF NOT EXIST" around it was a lot less than you would have to spend comparing each file by hand

I wrote it at work, so I couldn't test it, but it should work. If not, let me know.
