Resetting Resolution!

Hi guys.. awesome forum.. I have been enjoying HL2 on my X800 XT and it is awesome... but after reading the reviews about running the game in Widescreen mode I decided to give it a go and now when I start HL my monitor just blinks and says "Cannot display at this res....."

How can I reset my settings so I can get back playing!!?

I would love to know as well. I have a similar problem since my settings are far to high to display the game and since they cant display the game i cant reset them from within obviously. Boltonian if you by any chance find the answer to this problem, please please let me know.

You have to add the resolution in the command line - check the forums for how to do this, 'cause I don't remember.
