if you want people to join, especially with mapping and coders, your going to have to go way in-depth with what they will be doing, such as what types of levels they will be designing, or what the coders will have to under-go while coding for this mod, and you have to remember not everyone has played Resident Evil 2, tell us why we should give a damn about helping you with your mod...

That's violating IP laws. Making a mod like this without permission - even if you don't charge for it and add a disclaimer - will involve you getting shut down through a "Cease and Desist" letter.

And the IP owners of Resident Evil have been REALLY protective in the past.
