resize Modelling program

What is the best modeling program to use if I only want to resize the models , I 'm busy with a "Giant"map (for HL2 DM) so everything is big .
Now I want to resize some bottles etc...can I use Milkshape ? Or do I need another program

erm, you can't just use a program to resize pre compiled models. You need the uncompiled model files to do that.

And how can i do that ? the models are compiled I thougt in the .cgf map , I have read somewhere that you can open them with a special program.

I have read so many lately and I dont know where I have read that.
If you have any information how I could do best, please let me know.

Sorry to piggy back, but I was wondering if there was an entity that provided scalling on any models. I couldn't find a case yet. Some of the ENVs had scalling functions.
