Resolution Adjustment Error

Hey Guys, for a while now i been getting an error when i go to change my resolution, it says something like,

Engine Error

Failed to lock vertex buffer CmeshDX8: something


then it quits and i load it back up and the resolution has changed, why is it doing this and how can i sort it, as its getting quite annoying.

Well it's got something to do with DirectX 8, that's for sure. And vertex buffer, isn't that something with AA?
Anyways, I think you can set resolution by adding these parameters to the shortcut : -width X -height X
Or so someone said, haven't tried it out yet.

Ah ok cool, i'll just go try it now and see if it crashes or anything
