restart problems

my pc has started to restarts at random times during gameplay
it used to only happen while playing CS but now it seems to happen
with all games i have i have tried rolling back to directx 8 and rolling back my nvidia drivers but that did not help
ive got a gefroce fx 5200 direct x 9.0c and 61.77_win2kxp_international nvidia drivers
im guessing it must be something to do with my graphics card

no error messages are give either which is strange

Hmm.. What about the temperatures of your components ? Is your CPU or Videocard overheating ? All fans spinning like they should? Have you been overclocking?

well i got my first error message(in the attachment) and this was on the second attempt at playing GTA vice city (it restarted the first time)
im not overclocking anything and yep all temperatures and fans are fine.
The memory i have at the moment is this
Corsair (TWINX1024-3200XLPT) 1024MB (2x512M Matched Pair), DDR400 / PC3200, non-ECC, unbuffered, 2-2-2-5, Lifetime Warranty. Silver Heatspreaders
dunno does taht error message i got for Vice City have anything to do with memory error?
oh yeah and if i turn of auto-restart for fatal errors will that mean that my pcan be damaged if a fatal error occurs and it doesnt restart?

No, if it is happening during games, it could be your power supply is not providing enough power to the components causing a restart.

What brand is your power supply? And what are your computer specs?

My specs are in the attachement
i dunno what brand powersupply i have, on the sticker it just says Mesh PLC so im guessing its made by the company i ordered it from,
this time when i disable auto restart i got a stop error message and ill write down the number just incase it means anything to anyone
stop 0x0000008E (0xC000001D, 0x805A1FDF, 0xEFE27970, 0x00000000)
