So, I'm merrily playing the Heat of Battle mod for CoD on a server that prohibits cussing. First mistake. I mean, come on! I mean, you are playing a game that not only displays blood, violence and death, but provides entertainment with it. And the rating is T. It says, right in the manual that "Game experience may change during online play" So there should be no fear of being sued for someone child viewing *gasp* cussing. Anyway, I'm playing away. I then discover that ****(this is not the censored word "f*ck", it is 4 asterisks), is a cuss word. Do not say 4 asterisks in public. The unholiness of the asterisks will corrupt children's minds.
I should have left then. Second mistake. Then a teammate pulls off some really stupid stunt, refusing to help the team at any and all costs. Now, this is frustrating to no end for me, as our team has been generally losing because of stupid dumasses like these. Well i lose my temper. Well, i am set on fire by the admin, with the admonishment not to say the unholy 4 asterisks again. Again, i should have left. Third mistake.
So we go to the next map. I'm playing now, our team is actually winning this game, so I'm not cussing. Then i get spawnkilled. Of course, all over the server are console messages along the lines of:
"Do not spawnkill. Spawnkilling will result in a ban."
I complain. Of course, the next thing that happens is clear. I am set on fire *again* I ask why the f*ck was i killed. No answer exept for being kicked out of the game with the message "Player adulus banned for 60 minutes" So I get banned for *being* spawnkilled. Spawnkilling other players is a no-no, but spawnkilling me is not only okay, it is encouraged.

I now solidly believe the requirements for all admins is:
1. Be stupid
2. Be stupid
3. Be stupid

Anyone agree?
 
Some people that admin a server feel like they need to create rules that people will break so that they can enforce them! :P

And to THAT I say: Word.

I think anyone that swears in a game should be insta-banned, personally I think it's just not needed.

Specially not when there are such funny alternatives, like 'pleb' and 'smegging baffoon'
 
I used to be an admin on a TS server and I would go in there and pop on god mode just so I could get people pissed off and fake ban em (It says they have been banned, but it's really just a kick)

Wanna hear about a retarded admin!

Im playing sven co-op, and this kid who must be like 8 is using a mic and talking in his hella high voice only dogs and certain breeds of camel can hear and hes talking all annoying and ****. I say shutup a few times, but he doesnt see it. He just talks, theres some lag and i check pings, but im not lagging. I check it and i believe he had the most. I say to him you are lagging us and stuff, but hes like "No, this is a really fast computer"

So im like "Omfg wtf" to myself.
Ping has nothing to do with a fast computer the stup idiot!

Even so, i bet he knew nothing about computers and mine is almost defenetly faster than his.

So he says that, thinks im laggin, and kicks me and im banned!

OMG!

McFly, you don't happen to know the name of the admin, I think I know who your talking about if your reffering to Sven Coop.
 
I think it funny whenever I make a server because people ask me if they can cuss. I really don't care so I let people do whatever they want on my server. I want people to have fun and just chill while playin the game so I'm not all up tight with rules. The only thing I don't let people do is ruin the game for other which I don't think I've ever kicked anyone for.

Why winning! I didn't even have the most kills yet, but I would have in about 2 more minutes. I was just beating the crap out of everyone (and it wasn't like it was a couple of people playing around, it was a full on game)

I so so so SOSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wish i could get admin mod to work again for my TS server.....

Something is wrong with metamod and every time I try using it with a dedicated server it just wont open. :(
 
Feh, I've been kicked from [fate]BootyCall becuase I was on 43 kills for 2 deaths ;(
 
I was like 63 and 1 on one server, then they kicked me for 'hacking'

I was though :P

What I hate is when you join a Public non password game and get kicked instantly after join.

Heh, when you think about it those could be so much worse...

Pleb means the lowest form of human being and smegging baffoon...Well, I would like to think i don't have to explain what smeg means.

Whats the name of that CoD HoB server, i think i was in it. They banned me because i accidently sayd "Damnit!" and i got banned the whole day
 
Heh, when i first saw the title for this thread i thought you meant the admins on THIS site. I was waiting for Abom or Chris to come in and lay the smack down. :D
