Have you guys ever played return fire ? Asawme game, hours of fun.
Its a capture the flag game, where you need to choose between a tank, helli, and missile tank to destroy the enemy base to get to the flag, but you can only transport the flag back with your jeep. Really fun, specially when you play 2 playes via split screen.

Here is the demo that most of us played : http://www.download.com/Return-Fire/3000-7563_4-857371.html?tag=lst-0-2

I'm trying to find the complete version, I don't think the developers would mind since this is a 96 game and it has been out of businnes, so if any of you know where to find it ;)

It's a great game. Love it in multiplayer.

Also, I think its illegal to ask where to "obtain" it here :)

Downloading, ill check it out later.

Hey I remember that game, great fun. Theres another I'm trying to find though. 2 player split screen and you have your own base. The objective is to get into the enemy base and blow buildings up to rescue your own guys and take them back to your hospital. There was 4 tanks you could choose from if I remember correctly.

btw is that the old version 16bit version or the 32bit version?

i've been trying to find it for years (literally).

it was just so fun, especially zooming around in the jeep or trying to escape from the missile from the sub. ;)

did anyone ever play return fire2 ? i heard it was out but i never saw i anywhere. :)

if anyone ever finds a place to buy it, or download it (if abandonware or.. ;)) tell me !

My uncle gave me Return Fire 2 a long time ago, but it lagged on my computer at the time and I never got around to trying it again. I probably still have the cd somewhere at home. Hopefully my dad didn't throw it away. He tends to get rid of game boxes, manuals, and stuff. One day I literally had to pull my Age of Empires boxes out of the trash can :(.

He also gave us a tank game called Recoil, which was pretty fun at the time. Sometimes, my relatives just give me random games, and I don't know why...

THANK YOU!!!

I have been looking for this game but couldn't remember the name!!!!!!
Played the sequel many years ago but it wasn't great...It's amazing how many developers screw up games by going 3D.

Must get this NOW! (It's also wierd because as I was scrolling down through thread titles I was thinking "hmm...Maybe I should make a thread and see if people remember it...")

EDIT: THIS could be it! 7.27MB...I'm at work so can't try it out but hopefully it's the full game - abandonware & legit!

Sorry to double-post (you know...hours later)... the link that I posted doesn't seem to work - I'm at home now...Got to see that there is a mirror in Sweden but the link there could not be displayed...hmm...

I found it ! But I can't remember the link, its on a french gaming site, its apparently free.were now. Tons of maps, wich takes out the fun really.
I had more fun with the demo, now there are tons of maps, some imposible, with thousand of turrets protecting the flag. The funny thing is a small droid that attacks your enemy.

Let me find the site again.
