Ok, so I know I have a habbit of making threads about news thats already been posted but as far as I know this hasnt been discussed yet.

For those of you the dont know, Timeshift was a mediocre time-bending shooter that released a demo about a year ago (I think). Ever since it was abondoned by Saber Interactive, just before it was released, it was picked up by another developer (Atari I beleive?).

Now they have released a new demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace. For those of you that have played the original demo, has your opinion changed about this game?

Bah! I tried the original demo and thought it sucked, I tried the new one and still think it sucks.

There's something just not quite right about the "feel" of looking around - it's like the deadzone is all wrong.

Also the length of time you can stop / pause / rewind is just annoyingly short. I mean yeah, it would make the game too easy if you could do it forever - but chirst, come up with something new to make it a challange rather than just making a piss-ant shooter with a mediacore ability slapped on top.

P.S. This 2 second review is based on 10 seconds of acctualy gameplay of the demo - The right stick aiming not being perfect, and the fact I died because I was playing around with the pause time thing and it ran out too quickly just pissed me off.

Yeah, it sucks. Another gray and brown war-torn setting, nothing original or unique. The time powers are just another example of making shooters easy for the analog-stick users. The powers also take from the gameplay, every chance of a puzzle in the game is thrown away by the ability to stop time.

Same old boring resistance horseshit with time manipulation

BOOOOOOOOOOORING
