I thought by Richard Hammond you meant:

"Welcome... to Jurassic Park!"
No! After Steve Irwin this would be too much. ;(
He'll make it through, his condition is stable ... worrying that he's in a neurological unit though, isn't that to do with brain damage?
Wow, and the media didn't dub this a "freak accident" like someone else recently that was doing their job?
We're not exactly overendowed with huge tracts of flat land to run on.
Is he the guy from Jurassic Park?
I agree. There's only so much you can do with taking the car around the test track/location and talking about it. The races, money challenges (Italian supercars, van men etc.) and builds (carboats, Caterham, Espace convertable) are tremendous entertainment, while still of course being about cars. Top Gear's always been a non-serious entertainment show about cars, it's just that they've taken it further in the last couple of series. The lunacy/comedy are what make top gear
Sad to hear it, I'm quite a fan of top gear, but TBH I think that this is a sign that they should step away from the ever increasing amounts of lunacy in the programme and actually review some cars.
Can't wait for Clarksen to let rip on the hamster tho![]()
