riddick-efbb looks better than most 360 games...

Riddick is one of the best looking Xbox games. And one of the best games in general.

But better than 360 graphics? No. Not at all.

I thought Riddick sucked and was boring, but I'm in the minority apparently. It looks too much like Doom 3.

Yeah, an old Xbox title looks better than a 360 game, nice try starting a flame war

I thought Riddick was fun. I enjoyed the story, the hand to hand combat and some of the gameplay elements. It was nothing amazing, but it was definately refreshing.

It gave me an amazing experience, but the game had its faults.

I enjoyed the demo. I finished the full game, but it didn't turn out as good as I expected after playing the demo. Not saying it wasn't good though.

Riddick does look better than some of the earlier 360 games ... but no, not anymore.

Is this a poor man's thread to convince himself the 360 isn't good ?

I thought this game was awesome. Better than what it was based on.

It had a little of everything and considerable depth.

Melee system, check
streamlined but effective weapons, check
stealth mechanics, check
run and gun mechanics, check
mechs, plenty
prison violence, lots

I personally enjoyed taking out almost every light that i could in order to plunge the levels into darkness, and then go to town sneaking up on guards and delivering a screwdriver tracheotomy. Or dressing up in a guard issue jumpsuit in that level right after the hobo tunnels, and going about the level making every single guard (disappear) with only one being tipped off (and only because he was standing next to another guard)

The only downside this game had was a lack a multiplayer.

It even had a hint of some RPG elements, like the conversation system, side-quests, merchants, and open ended levels.

I believe he's talking about the PC version. Ramp it up to high settings and it'll give a 6800 a run for its money, and the gameplay is surprisingly awesome also. I got it pretty soon after it game out for £6 off Play.com, it rose once people realised that this crappy movie tie-in was actually... not crappy at all. It's well worth playing. And it does look gorgeous.
