If you have any riddles for others to solve, post them. They may not be too good, but here are two to start (whoa, used all three to's in one sentence!):

Poor people have it, rich people want it, and if you eat it you'll die. What is it?

What makes a barrel lighter?

Nothing

A hole?

Heh, yeah. Not many people I've asked that to have gotten it, though.

Want of sin, drink of gin, please deny, for faith and I.

What is it?

perhaps spoiler tags for those who haven't seen those answers before would be more considerate.

What can you eat for breakfast and drink with your dinner? (the man who told me this has now passed away :()

Considerate? **** me, if people are going to be upset by my revealing of an answer to a riddle you can google and find in about 2 seconds then maybe they need to put spoiler tags over their nose and mouth and wait for a bit!

But thats not the point. I wouldn't want to do that, nor anyone else actually wanting to solve it. You'd want to work it out for yourself, ruining it for other people is silly. Surely you can understand that for people wanting to think about it?

edit: hehe posey no its not.

Thanks Danny, he was a good guy, i still have a few things to remember him by :)

Soapy stuff in The Matrix?

Edit: Posts come too fast! Arrgghhh!

No! think about it, its a riddle, its not silly. Double meanings etc...i'll be back later to see if you got it. Think!

My riddle stands unanswered.

For Hectic's:

I believe the answer is toast. Otherwise, milk?

Shens has it! Don't look though, try work it out.

Yes it does, it was quite good.

How the hell do you drink toast?

Above: a question for you.

This guy living on the 20th floor in an apartment building got up early each morning to go to work in a downtown store. He always went into the elevator on the 20th floor and rode down to the entrance (1st floor). When he came home he always rode the elevator from the entrance and up to the 8th floor. He walked out of the elevator and walked the stairs up to his apartment on the 20th floor.

Ohhhh, let me know if I understand this correctly:

If the answer is milk, do you mean like you're eating it in cereal?

He was too small to reach the 20th button

See, being considerate now :p

damn you murry...well try this one

A horse travels a certain distance each day. Strangely enough, two of its legs travel 30 kilometers each day and the other two legs travel nearly 31 kilometers. It would seem that two of the horse's legs must be a kilometer ahead of the other two legs, but of course this is not the case. Since the horse is quite normal, how is this situation possible?

Damn, I really suck at this. I was trying this whole time to figure out what the question was! Why didn't you just put "Why?" at the end?! Why?!

Let me think about that one.

Common, guys, more riddles.

I don't think anyone's even going to attempt to answer Shens'

Remember, I gave another one in my first post as well.

Different lights do make me strange, thus into different sizes I will change. What am I?

Carousels/merry-go-rounds.

Sorry Kamkazie (yes, that was a deliberate mistake, that is an 'a' in Murray :p)

I can't get yours though :p

I think Shens got it. For some reason, on the change in size by light one, a prism popped into my head... regardless of the fact that I knew it wasn't the right answer.

What has a mouth but does not eat, runs but never walks?

A river? You could also add 'has a bed, but never sleeps'
