While many game spread their media and hype across the internet from the day go, although it does make gamers eager to get their hands on the game in question. The Riot Act website went up only a few days ago, with an edgy design and a small bucket load of media the Riot Act team are set to release within the next month or so.[br]

[br]The mod follows a young member of the civilian resistence trying to break free of Nova Prospekt. With current testing leaving play time at around and hour and a half Riot Act seems to be another short mod to wet our appetite. [br]

I don't understand what this is meant to mean. Is it implying the mod is doing the same thing as other mods by releasing images from the "day go", or are they doing the opposite and only releasing infomation right before a public release ?

I dont quite follow this either. Do they have a small bucketload of media that they havn't put on the site and are set to release within the next month, or the actual mod itself is set to be released within the next month ?

In terms of the mod itself, it looks quite reasonable. I quite enjoy a game that will only take 1-2 hours to finish ... I rarely have the time to play through games that need more than 10 hours from start to finish for single player.

Sorry if it sparked confusion - I thought it sounded ok.

The mod is going to be out in a couple of months and the 2nd question relates to the first, the site is public the mod will be out soon.

Looks interesting, and seems to understand the Nova Prospekt visual style well enough.

Wow, this looks promising. From a playtime and design standpoint I'd suggest this could apprehend the visual and gameplay style of Minerva > totally fisting awesome

there site looks good, maps to, sounds cool !

i always dreamed of fighting half life 2 characters mod style multiplayer and here it is!! i cant wait..

wow another italian sp project, I didn't expecting this! :naughty:

They should have made the entire image clickable... not just a link in a highlighting image. But that's just my opinion.

IMO this is the way MOD teams should do things, it's much better for everyone concerned if the MOD team makes it's d?but announcement and then releases the MOD shortly after, instead of 4 years down the road.
I think it also gives a lot more credibility to the mod team.

Nah not always, it's also fun seeing a mod build up from scratch to a game you enjoy playing... as long as its not the 3 media releases of ugly unskinned models and the year of silence followed by a post somewhere telling you its dead.. :| anyways, go go riot act !! :D

It looks promising. I for one will be checking it out upon release. Best of luck to the mod team.
