Bought the camera just over a year ago from New Egg. Worked GREAT. Bought a 4 gig SD Card for it, since, well, I intended to record lots of video footage. This past week, the little usb plug on the camera broke off the camera, and fell inside causing random "short outs" on the camera. Well, shit.
My Father gets the piece out, camera doesn't start anymore. I'm going to get fresh batteries sometime and try, but I doubt it will work. I got one of those "Emachine card readers" from my father too, since he has like 20 sitting around. put my card in, tried getting the pictures off, but it kept giving me read errors. Took my card out, put back in, now it says it needs to format the card....
Take card out, giant gauges *gouges..?* in the gold parts of the connectors on the card. My guess, that's why it can't read now. Thanks card reader, you piece of shit.
My entire camera part is now junk.....I guess this is a sign.
