Ripping audio from DVD and splitting it up

What's the best software for ripping audio from DVD video and splitting it up into several files at specific times? I just got the DVD of The Wall (the movie was $15 cheaper than the album!) and I want to get the individual songs from it.

I don't know how to isolate the audio, but once you do, you can use any audio editors to split it up into parts. I use WavePad, it's simple and you can get a free trial here.

I don't know about the DVD ripping, but I recommend Audacity for cutting the audio. It's free and works like a charm. If you have an AVI that you want to rip the audio from, use VirtualDub.
