pretty cool work.

one thing about the homepage:
when opening pics in the gallery, the popup window resizes to the picture size (which is good) and adds scrollbars (which is bad). leave out the scrollbars. otherwise, you always have to scroll/resize to see the complete pic, because the scrollbars "steal" some place. you could also add some pixels to the calculated windowsize to get rid of the problem.

1. Choose your subjects wisely (or muses wisely).
2. Style (e.g., contemporary, gothic, erotic, collage, etc.)
3. Know your viewers.
4. Be creative. (sometimes in my case I become over-creative but who cares)
5. (This goes alongside rule 5 of how I work) Try to see what works and what doesn't work (e.g., model, textures, type, effects. layout, etc.)
6. And, if I add, use, if necessary, some dark imagaination.

New Painting - Depressing Sorrow

Median - Photoshop 7.0
Completed - 2 Hours

I did this to release my anger and depression. This was created while I was at work. It's hard being an artist, especially when you have your own website online. Sometimes you feel that no one appreciates what you do, which is why sometimes I beat myself for trying so hard no matter what I do. But I guess I got to just hang in there.

And to answer your question Druckles, yes I do, but I have to create those brushes before I use them.

Normally when I do my brushes, I do it from an image that is in greyscale mode (like a stencil). From that, I would use to define my brush and use it in my artwork. That's how I normally do it.

About the pic Depressing Sorrow . It's not suppose to have any meaning. It would be how you would picture it.
