Wait... that's bad... But yeah, this is not the only thing he's known for. His "reforms" do indeed seem very oriented on driving whitey out! Lots of stories from the white people of Zimbabwe about this on TV and the internet.

Where was your outrage when government backed so called "War Veterans" (most of them too young to even remember the Bush War) systematically threw the vast majority of white farmers out during the early 2000s?

I'm not saying that Rhodesia was ideal, but the minority government took a damn sight better care of the Bread Basket of Africa than Mr. Mugabe & chums.

Before the land reforms took hold Zimbabwe was one of the most prosperous nations in Africa, now it cant afford to feed its own people.

He also declared inflation "illegal" and tried to force shopowners not to raise their prices. And Nemesis, 1000% is so last year. It's closer to 11,000% last I checked.
 
Maybe, just maybe, before throwing the Whitey out, Mr. Mug should have had a look at their financial contribution... Scratch that, should have had a look at their financial stabilization of his country. Well, now Whitey is gone, and now your inflation is 25 times larger than your life expectancy which is 39 years. The Zimbabwe African National Union was a militant Marxist organization that fought against white minority rule in Rhodesia, formed as a split from the Zimbabwe African People's Union. While ZAPU was more pro-Soviet, ZANU was more Maoist and pro-Chinese in the wake of the Sino-Soviet split. ZANU won the 1980 elections under the leadership of Robert Mugabe, and eight years later merged again with Joshua Nkomo's ZAPU to form ZANU-PF, the current governing party of the country.
