Rogue Threat, the highly amibitious singleplayer-only mod starring Combine officer Rion Abott, has released a slew of new media.[br]
Rogue Threat plans to flip HL2 on its head by showing the rebel uprising through the eyes of a Combine Soldier leading his very own platoon, stationed aboard the cargo ship Borealis. As you thunder through the air in dropships, blast rebels with all-new weapons and get driven insane by visions of your mysterious past, you'll uncover the deepest, darkest secrets of Combine regime - all set to a professional soundtrack by John Yamashiro and
Jeff Storm.

[br]Rogue Threat will be released episodically, in six parts, and will include an entirely new user interface, branching multi-linear gameplay, Combine-style suit functions such as nightvision and shielding, brutal melee attacks for all weapons and even, apparently, a trip to Xen. All 34 new screenshots are available at the team's <url=http://www.dof.ampedhost.com/media/rtmedia/mediaindex.html>media gallery
and you can listen to some incredible music at their site. Finally, the team is also looking for new recruits - you can find their news updated and full details at:

Looking awsome. I've been interested in some single-player mods for HL2. There are far too many multi-player ones out there.

Anyway, back to this one. The new media is looking good. I'm interested in how they integrate Xen into the mod.

I love that new OICW look a like gun. This mod is looking promising as it's always is.

This mod is looking pretty damn good! I love the modeling, the map's, and the single player only. As mentioned already, there is way too many multi-player mod's. It is good to see something new. Goodluck with the mod!

Little mistake: "" needs one more ]

This mod is looking nice btw!

Wow I remember that first picture from yonks ago, haven't heard about this mod in ages.

the thumbnail images look better then the original picture, but it still looks good.

These are my impressions from the Media available.

Music: Great
Mapping: Average - Good
Enemy Concepts: Good
Enemy Models: Medium
Weapon Concepts: Good - Great
Weapon Models: Great

I'd like to see more detail in those maps (the subway sections for a start).

I'm gonna keep an eye on this Mod though. It's looking pretty good!

hah, I agree with the post above me.

The maps arn't as detialed as I would like them to be since we rough out the levels in full first with dev textures, then texture and light and add baseic models, then we add detial decals and models that give the levels detial, which we really arn't at yet. And yes, our enemies need work, thats why we are still looking for good character modelers and texturers. We have alot of refs since we use Valves concept art that was thrown out years ago. But yeah, if you know anyone who can help us, send me an email at [email protected]. Check out the Team Page to see what we need help in.

holy crap! I thought it looked absolutely excellent! I'm really excited for this one...

Hooray! An SP mod. Looking very nice as well. Lets hope this one comes off.

I had a suspicion some of the maps hadn't been added on to much since 'Level: Orange'. It's nice to see that you're actually playtesting the basics first before adding detail. The sure sign of a good Mod is one that concentrated on gameplay and then aesthetics.
