rome total war problem

does anyone know why my computer keeps freezing whenever im playing rone:tw? like when im in the prologue part (which is like training) it always either freezes or my monitor kinda turns off and doesnt let me do anything.....this is really annoying i need help

is it the hacked version? becasue this is a known problem with warez...

That sounds like a hardware issue.... but i dont know, i've not come across that.
