Rookie to Half Life 2 please help....Hap New Yr!

Hey- I just got Orange Box for my 360 and while i was a huge fan and player of the original Half Life multiplayer game on PS2...i'm an absolute rookie on the Half Life 2 single player....I'm stuck at this early point in the game by the train tracks and cant get through the darn thing!?!?!?!?

Any suggestion on how to get through that point of the game? And if there's any other suggestion on getting through the game?

One of the trains has a open door. Find it and go trough.

Ok, thanks...I think I tried going through that train and still ended up stuck with nowhere to proceed but I'll try again!

Is that the bit where you have to go on top of the train roofs and then break the metal door open by removing the blockades while being shot at and only having the crowbar?

Yes exactly! I got on top of the train but couldnt figure out how to break thru with the crow bar!

are you being shot at by combine patrol officers? there should be a doorway after you cross the tracks in which you hit the wood holding it closed

You go into a train compartment and there is a ladder that leads to the roof of the train. When you're on the roof you can jump from the roof of the train over a fence (on the left) that leads to the next level.
