What happened too him, Simmons and Walter at the end of blue-shift? They died? Or are the just excluded from the story?

i just thought i'd make this thread after playing blue-shift , i haven't played it in ages

I know they do, But where DO they go? It says they are out of range and you never see/Here them mention of it in Hl2.

Apparently it's meant to be a character from near the test chamber, probably with a speaking role.

Rosenberg was right outside the test chamber's lower level, but gordon never actually saw him.

Simmons appeared pretty much at random and Dr. Walter Bennet is referenced in all three HL1 expansions as an in-joke.
Both of them could have been there, as far as we know.

We have no idea. Barney is fine though, and it can at least be theorised that HL2 Barney is Calhoun.

Im putting my money on thats its either of the two unmentioned NPC scientists from the original hl that is the returning character in ep2, i hope im right
