hey,

For this map i'm working on, i'd like to have a rotatable spotlight with 2 buttons controlling left and right.

I have everything working perfectly with a non-light object [just a physbox] using a phy_motor and simple switch. But when I attatch the motor to a light [either light_spot or light_dynamic] no go.

I also tried constraining a light to my working physbox, and neither of them move.

any ideas?

Parent a light_dynamic to your working physbox, I say.

alright, that worked well for a single axis.

what about having 2 different axis? in this case, my motor rotates my spotlight very well panning left and right, but if I repeat the setup on the same light using additional rotate up and down motors, it locks in place. it's as if the motors are restricting eachothers movement.

this may be off topic, but what about getting an object to follow a path in cs? in hl2 setting up paths to be followed by an npc is pretty straightforward, but can't seem to do it in CS. i don't need an actual npc to follow the path, more just an object to continually follow it.

any suggestions?
