my computer (along with a few others) are connected to a router (dell TrueMobile 2300), which is then connected to an ADSL Modem (Zoom or something) and have had a bit of trouble setting up a DMZ for my computer.
what i did was, make the Router a DMZ on the modem (ip something like 1.0.0.13) and then my computer a DMZ on the router (192.168.2.101)
playing online seems to work (i have not forgotten about zonealarm when not doing any servering)
i am able to receive connections from other players when runnign a half-life 2, CS1.6 or CS:S server (the only ones i tried so far) however if i run a dedicated server, the router seems to crash, by that i mean no one can connect to it anymore. no LAN. no internet. not even access to the routers settings unless i pull the power and put it back in. am i doing something wrong?
