Router going bananas?

So I'm playing alota Mw2 lately and my Nat settings have always been open.
lately though when I start the game it says NAT settings are "strict" a few seconds later it turns to "open."
Last night it wouldn't go from strict to open and I couldn't play,now I unhooked the Ethernet cable and plugged in to another port on my router its working for now but for how long?

Anybody know what could have caused this?

Possible Problem: Your IP is not static anymore.

You're playing on the system with a wireless connection right? You've opened up the 5 required ports for codmw2 I assume, and you've set those ports to be open for the IP address assigned to your wireless network. Chances, are, your IP has changed, and hence those ports are not open for you anymore. You should recheck your IP, and re-enter your IP Address in your router settings port fowarding section.
