Router/ network problems, please help!

I have D-Link 614+ 2.4 GHz wireless router. It has been good for 2 months, but lately i just lose connectivity for about 20 seconds. It wont load sites and I even lag in AIM. We do have 2.4 ghz phones around the house but they havent caused any problems in the 2 months that the router worked well

You may have a neighbor who recently got a 2.4ghz wireless. Take a look at the wireless configuration of the router and see what channel it is using. Channels 1 & 13 are the safest because they are at extremes. A singel 2.4ghz wireless using a spread of 6 or 7 channels, so you can have overlapping interference. WHen you change the channel don't do it from a wireless PC. You'll loose the connection and it will take several seconds for it to attempt a recover and find the new channel.

The other possibility is there has been a lot of talk that the Wireless Zero Configuration (under SERVICES) supposedly has regular loss of connectivity. I have this service running and never experience the supposed issue. You could stop the service and redo you configuration.
