Router Problem - Crashes on certain websites

my router: netgear wgt624 v2
modem: dlink adsl 300t ethernet modem

well, both my pc and the laptop connect directly onto internet
but when u go on certain sites the router seems to crash.
i cant login back to router or anything, i have to take the plugs off n put it bak on for it to work again.

HELP!
 
lol fo :) i mean sites such as:

ebay
yahoo etc

google works perfectly, maybe cuz the site is smaller ?

help! not mock me!

If they "directly" connect then their not going though a router...

If you are actually going through the router:
Connect both your laptop and PC to it. When the router "crashes", see if both machines can't log into it. I'm thinking maybe it's a problem on one of your computer's end if one can and one cant.

If both cant access the router after the crash, look into a firmware upgrade and/or call Netgear.
 
Well its on the pc right now, i meant the laptop connects via wireless but, when i go on high bandwidth websites, which have been names, such and such. I cannot login to the router nor the modem. On the pc the router is on.

Maybe the router is ****ed, i have no idea, so anyone?
 
Sounds more like a computer issue. Perhaps when your computer receives a specific line of code from a site your internet dies because it can't interpret it or interprets it wrong...try to find drivers for your mobo/windows. Uninstall the tc/ip protocol and reinstal it. Go on microsofts site to get help with that.
