then why would futre gordon commit suiside as present gordan would have to win , for future gordan to have both recuited himself at the end of HL and to be there shooting at his past self as per this scenario

So any spoilers concerning gman, are ultimatley false.

Thanks guys for clearing this up. But I heard people talking about that ending on hl2world forums. And they read the hl2 script! So thanks guys for clearing up this mess I had a feeling that the news site wasn't a credible source but I was just in a state of shock when I read that.

Its a multiverse. Travelling back in time has no subtle effect on the outcome of ones future self, whereas travelling back in time would equal two universes at least.

Funny also was the Steam Secondary Net for Journalists he speaks about and the 48 hours of setting HL2 up. No journalist has a retail version of HL2 in their hands now. And that is what is true. If you are a journalist, ask VU's PR and you will get this date for when the review copies arrive (if you are not the exclusive paper in the country): "November, 16th 2004".

I've tried everything to get my hands on it already and it's my job but HL2 is a different league really
