I love conservatives who brush off Media Matters as communist propegenda simply because they are a liberal organization. Well duh, they have a liberal agenda; they expose conservative lies. Nothing, and I do mean nothing, on that site if false. They show you quotes and then a source that proves what that person says is a lie. It amazes me; you would think a reasonable person would be ok with a media watch group (I would be ok if there was a conservative organization that did the same thing) but for some reason you conservatives have a huge problem with it (I wonder why).

you think simply, a sensible person could see something was wrong just from the sheer quantity of complaints against the validity of NEWS being told. especially when they compare it to past statements and see indescrepancies all over the shop.

its obvious this quite intense left v right battle in the US is occuring because someone/people isnt/arnt telling the truth, which is creating ground for arguments, some futile. 'some call it bending the truth', but a lie is a lie at the end of the day. and it warrants the question 'why would he/she lie so blatantly like that? what are they protecting? what have they got to gain from it? all the questions should be addressed. and good people should put their foot down on some hard questions about. But I guess if the person in question doesnt believe their lieing, or has convinced themselves that its true somehow.. then that can prove difficult.

if you look through the surface of it all. past the politic's, you can begin to see that its more about them than any of us. its more about their integrity and being seen to be loyal. rather than acting like a mature human being , its almost as if they are a collection of people who arnt as mentally evolved as others. Who can only see material possession as meaning, and ignore whats right in favour of personal well being, emotional ties, and subsequently economic/world power stance.

although modern society stresses the importance of these manufactured elements to our lives, its inherently tribal, and almost sub human to the standards we praise ourself with.. as a mentally evolving being. If for a moment you didnt have to be so emotional about situations, there is a sense of tranquility that can arise... proving that we are our own worst enemy.. and we really are fighting each other for no reason.. we should be fighting ourselves instead, attempting to be mentally stronger, to develop better appreciation.. for everyting. Its what being human is all about, to better ourselves, we intuitively know that. Yet it seems some are still hooked on the drug of human emotional weakness. Its petty and its ultimately holding us all back from a more fullfilling life.

I remember looking through that mediamatters website when it first started up hoping it would be something like factcheck.org, and being horribly dissapointed after reading through and realizing that the tripe they post on that website is just as bad as the tripe they're bitching about. Again, you are saying all this yet you can't cite one example of them lying or even stretching the truth on that web site. Why are you conservatives so against a media watch group?

Yes, I too hoped they would be like factcheck; however, the guy that started it is a liberal so he concentrated all his resources on pointing out conservative lies. You conservatives have more money than any of these organizations so why don't you start something like this yourself instead of bitching about something that is clearly a good thing.

Again, before anyone says anything about this being a liberal propegenda site I want to see at least one example of them posting a lie.
