Russia classifies beer as alcoholic!

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has signed a bill that officially classifies beer as alcoholic.

Until now anything containing less than 10% alcohol in Russia has been considered a foodstuff.

Liquor was illegal during the 70s and 80s in the USSR and still 60%+ of the population managed to be a hardcore raging alcoholic nonetheless. Changing the classification of beer isn't going to help any Russians, they just require copious amounts of alcohol in order to survive in such a shitty environment.
