Russian National Unity is both a nationalist political party and an extremist paramilitary organization. The RNU's slogan, "Russia for the Russians," says much about its goals, which include the ethnic cleansing of the "motherland" and a vastly increased public role for the Russian Orthodox Church. The RNU, or Barkashovites as they are sometimes known, are virulently opposed to the presence of both Jews and Caucasian minorities in the Russian motherland, whom they propose deporting to Israel and "Turkish lands", respectively. With black uniforms, raised arm salutes, and a red swastika flag as its logo, the RNU eagerly invites comparison to the Nazi Party in its early days under Adolf Hitler.

Putin should move in quickly to stop this, through whatever means will kill the movement and prevent new members from joining or being inspired to. Making them martyrs might not do the trick, but something needs to be done.

There's nothing wrong with paramilitaries or militias themselves. Every citizen should be a soldier.

The problem with THIS group is they're used to harass the Jewish and foreign populations. Thus it's criminal and should be clamped down upon immediately.

In other words, you want anarchy? I wouldn't expect that from a fascist. If every person should be allowed to start an army of their own they would soon try to overthrow the government and a start a civil war.

Every citizen should be a soldier, Jefferson's exact words. In no way means against the betterment of the state. Don't always think evil, bad, or rebels when you hear militia. It's for the defense of the homeland.

Honestly, I don't care what some guy 230 years ago said, we live in the present. You don't need every citizen to defend your country, that would mean that all other issues in society, education, health care etc. is being pushed away because someone feels the need to use every last child as a soldier.

You don't need a one or the other look at it.

The quote is vague. Everyone should be able to come to service in a time of need or war. That doesn't mean every citizen should be a full time/service infantryman/militia member. Militias aren't bad, and can serve well as an addition to defense of the state, or even further serve it by accepting a call to certain actions.

No surprise really. Russian democracy and support for Western ideals has been deteriorating for quite a while now.

Militia's don't add to the security, they underminde it, a Militia in the US does jack shit to protect the country. It only makes it unsafer, it's nothing more then a gang. I would not feel safer knowing that civilians have formed a gang, with big guns.

edit: btw anyone interested I am pwisely on those forums the AFP runs, they have a wide variety of people there, anyone who is civil and keeps proper topics to the right (there is a forum specifically for opposing views/debate of fascism itself, and a forum for debate between fascists themselves on particular/specific policy, etc etc) forums is welcome and encouraged to join the forum

I know what your perception of fascism means, but fascism is more than the fascist manifesto, just like communism is more than the communist manifesto. Mussolini and Franco were fascist, and their version of fascism is what most people consider fascism to be; an ideology of violence that divides people into different group depending on the colour of their skin etc. The actions of people like Mussolini and Franco were made in the name of Fascism, whether you like it or not.

National socialists do, thus their loyalty doesn't lie with the state but with color. They're a gang of hoodlums based on race. Racism should be stamped out, and would be in a fascist society. It undermines the state, ESPECIALLY in America's case, we're very diverse, racial hatred and infighting only serves to weaken the state and national unity as a whole.

To the_monkey, Fascism was enver racist, it wasn't until Mussolini became infected with Hitlerism that it became so. Over 10,000 Jews helped the cause of the Fascist revolution in Italy! And the Chief Rabbi was a key party member! Mussolini's betrayal marked the doom of these loyal souls, though. He's a disgrace. Think of it like someone you respect a lot right now. If tomorrow they went and became racist and killed many people, you'd dissavow them- but you still like the things done before that time. If only Hitler had died in WWI...
