S.T.A.L.K.E.R system specs?

I was just watching some stalker game footage.. and this game looks like it is going to need a monster of a machine to run.

Also I know Nvidia is sponsoring them.. so of course I am a bit shaky with my x800xt.. isnt stalker a DX9 game?



Also when I was watching the videos it looked like the person recording the demos kept getting FPS spikes.. you know that cant be good.

i heard a long time ago that stalker could run on opengl and dx. not sure if its still true. don't worry though, it has dx9 support, x800 cards are going to do very well.

dunno about that crappy cpu though, i think you better send that piece of garbage to me because i heard stalker doesn't support it.

At the CPL i played it and theyre were running it on dual 6600GTs if i remember right, that or a 6800 Ultra, but it ran perfectly fine

The alpha runs fine [1024x768 - medium detail] on a AMD Durond 1.2, 256 DDR (PC 2700 or sometihng) and a GeForce FX 5200 (EQ - one of the 'crap' versions).
