Saints Row 2 on Steam

Volition's Saints Row 2, published by THQ is now available on Steam. Unfortunately it is currently only available in North, South and Central America. To buy visit the Steam Store. Any additions / updates to extra regions for SR2 will be added to this article.[br]

Cause knowing those assholes they were waiting for the Steam sales to finish before giving us them. They claim they are coming to the UK they just don't know when.
I was going to get this but if THQ insist on following the others in ignoring Europe they can shove it.

Why, Why delay the Steam release for people outside of America it makes no bloody sense. I understand that retail takes longer to ship here etc. But their is no reason to delay it on Steam. Valve seem to manage to release their games worldwide at the same time on Steam why can't the other publishers do the same thing.

Sometimes publishers are split into mostly independent North America/European/Asian divisions and one division doesn't have the rights to distribute in all areas. In order to distribute in all areas we have to negotiate deals with all the different divisions and they all have different ideas of how pricing should work and how important digital distribution is for their games. We are always trying to help them understand the importance of markets around the world as well as help them understand the importance of fair and equal pricing for all regions, but it's an ongoing struggle.
