PC Gamer, PC Format, Edge and Gamesmaster. Four supposedly different publications for four very different audiences. The same person reviewed Half-Life 2 in all four magazines.

Proof?

All I see is some guy posting this rumour on and that board without posting any proof. Probably the same guy that said VALVe had offered Reviewers women and booze to give HL2 a good score.

This "whistle blower" has a post on the second page with a paragraph that begins as follows: "The reason, I believe, that all four reviews were written by the same person was that presumably..." In other words, he's just guessing.

As they say, "Nothing to see here folks. Move along."
