This is what i have so far... all done in paintshop with no filters of any kind. I know his right arm is kind of gibbled, but i'm not really too sure how to go about fixing it. Anyway...it took me about 3 hours....might add more after work tommorrow...C&C appreciated. ............Nobody has anything to say?

looks very nice, but his stance should have been different. he should have been more of a fighting stance than an observation stance. If u like dropped his legs down so he is like 1/10 crouching and move his saw down so it looks like he has pulled it back to strick
that would be sooooo ****ing nice. Very nice work VERY! well done.

thanks ichi....yeah an action pose would have been better, but i went into it not really knowing what i was doing....so the pic basically started out as just the helmet, and kind of spread from that. so by the time i realized the head was at kind of a bad angle i had already spent too much time to turn back.......BTW you could consider this a teaser for the mod idea i was mentioning before. Do you still want me to e-mail you? (I'll warn you now, the only thing i can do is do concepts and music.....which is always a bad position to be in when trying to start a mod) please feel free to crit this people....i would like as much feedback/suggestions as possible....thnx (BTW i drew it with my mouse)

looks good
the details bugger me. the whole samurai is rough but the little details are very sharp. this makes the pic look wierd imo

Needs lensflare! No, I'm kidding. I agree with Ichi, it should be more of an action pose.

"the whole samurai is rough but the little details are very sharp." <--yup
that's one of the reasons why it's still a WIP....i may b going a little overboard as it is, because i was doing it for a concept....doesn't really need to be this detailed, but i haven't drawn in about a year, and i forgot what it's like to get totally wrapped up in a drawing.

I think it's fine... 'cept maybe his face should be a little bit different... might just be his nose, too. It's kinda' a big shnoz that he's got goin' on, ya'know? Just my opinion(s) though.

LOL....why didn't I think of that! LENS FLARES FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!
"It's kinda' a big shnoz that he's got goin' on," <---hmm....maybe i should color it, because that's actually a mask.

OK, I tried to fix some stuff, it should be fairly obvious now that he's wearing a mask, and EVIL, I tried to clean it up some as a whole for ya. I think it's getting better but it still needs some work (i think his neck looks a little buggered). Any more suggestions?

Just to point something out. that chip on his sword looks like it goes all the way through the hamon (the high-carbon edge). This is concidered a fatal sword flaw. I doubt a samari would use such a sword becuae it is very weak and is liable to snap unexpectadly.

If you want to fix it, just make it so the chip does not go all the way through, which is not a fatal flaw.

Just so you know.
