I recently re-installed Windows XP. Before this, San Andreas worked perfectly. Now it does not. That is to say, it does not work at all.
For some reason it simply refuses to start on my computer. I click on the icon (the .exe itself, as well as the shortcuts) and the hourglass comes up for a second or so (as does the DVD cursor symbol) and then nothing. When I've checked Ctrl+Alt+Del, it's definitely not running as a program or as a process. No other programs are running. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it a number of times, to no avail.
I'm seriously confused and pretty annoyed - any suggestions?
Cheers!
