Well, I wasn't going to, but I saw a nice TV for about half price on clearance, so I decided to get one.
It's a Sanyo HT30746
I've got an upscaling 720p/1080i DVD player using the HDMI input on the TV, it looks great.
Many people were happy with the TV for $425 and more, so I should feel lucky I got it on sale for $275.
I'm going to order some cables and stuff so I can try it as my 2nd computer monitor - for things like movies and games.
Damn man, This guy paid $800 and I got it for $275. I'm pretty happy.

Cons: Big and heavy CRT.
I bought this 30inch diagonal TV from Walmart in September 2004. At the time it was really the only HDTV in 16x9 format that was under $900. I paid $797. It is even better now that it's price is now about $690. The closest thing to it was a ...
