Is this card good for HL2 and other upcoming dx9 games?
I currently have a crappy Geforce 4 mx 420 64mb (sucks).

And is it worth the money? -> 1,854.00 SEK ( 1USD = 8 SEK )

And what's the difference between this card
-> Sapphire Radeon 9600 Atlantis PRO 128MB
AGP, ATI9600PRO, DVI-I, TV-Out, Retail

And this card (except that the Ultimate Ed is lil expensiver)
-> Sapphire Radeon 9600 Atlantis PRO 128MB
AGP, "Ultimate Ed.", DVI, TV-Out, Retail

Thanks!

grr even i know the answer to this one and i dont even know what fsb is :/ , yes that card will play hl2 but to its full potentials

Ultimate is cooled by a hugeass Zalman heatsink I beleive... Passive cooling. Its badass and with zero sound.
A bit poor on the overclocking side though. The one that is just atlantis is the one with the fan I suppose. I'm not that into 9600 cards. I'm sure someone will fill in, people cant keep quiet :)

Sidenote: and yeah the standard is worth it. Doubt the ultimate is though.

Thanks for the comments.

I really can't pay more than 2000 SEK(about 140USD) for a graphic card, and of course I want the best for that amount of money ;)..

Oh and almost forgot, do the cards need some requirements?

My comp:
p4 1.8ghz
512ddram

Hey another swede! Sverige äger ;)

Yeah the 9600pro is a fantastic card, cheap and with good performence in older games and has now proved itself to be able to play HL2 pretty damn fast for its price!

I myself was going to buy a 9600pro, but then my friend agreed to sell his old 9700pro to me for 1500SEK :)

Its the same as the others, just another company that distribute it. The performance difference should be minimal or near zero...

The 9600pro is a great card, and I personally have a 9600pro atlantis in my machine, and it runs great. I don't know about the gigabyte one, but the Shappire Atlantis can overclock to phenomial speeds.

(not an expert with comps)
So it's safe to plug in 9600pro into my machine?

@Sidewinder
Sounds great :)
Does the fan sound alot when it's working?
My GeForce4 mx420 sounds like a friggin airplane!
